Sure, it’s a Bugatti...
Sure, it’s fast...
Sure, it is exclusive...
Sure, it is for people with no taste and waaaaay too much money they don’t know how to spend
And I sure don’t care about it as it isn’t relative to me.... and yes I started that sentence fragment with an and!
My question is, instead of dropping that $2.35 mil on this car, how else would you spend it?
![]() 02/29/2016 at 18:04 |

I’d spend it on literally anything else. Maybe a thousand $2000 Miatas and then another half million bucks to beat on them forever. Why not?
Also, I hope you noticed that that first photo is a Veyron, not a Chiron.
(E: I’m joking about the money. I hate the “what if” conversation, because I’d literally tell nobody and keep on doing what I’m doing.)

All the V6 Mustangs.

Probably some lovely ocean front property.

Save the rest for spare parts because I’m going to drive the piss out of it.

An LFA and a bunch of Quesalupas.

A rather nice house, a Range Rover, an F-Type, and a Laramie Limited. And a Quadski. And a snowmobile.
What more in life do you need? Other than happiness, but bah, happiness is for poor people.

And proper hauler with a decade worth of spares and entry fees.
And daily this:
And this for the wife. Gotta keep her happy:
And for when she’s feeling sassy:
I think I’ll have a shitload left over too.

Cayman GT4 and a lifetime supply of track days.

I’d buy a mansion with a massive garage and collect weird old cars (think Amphicar) and little Japanese kei cars (Autozam AZ1)
![]() 02/29/2016 at 18:31 |

I’ll go to town HERE
plus, invite ALL LaLDers and OPPOnauts for an annual track day at COTA!

I’d probably buy a Chiron.

A goddamn apartment ... we’re going crazy trying to buy one ....
![]() 02/29/2016 at 19:06 |

This really is the best answer. Imagine having a stash of actual race cars you could thrash around...
![]() 02/29/2016 at 19:10 |

That’s literally too much for me to know what to do with it... I guess I’d buy a bigass field and build a private airfield with a hangar/garage/workshop and then populate it with whatever I find cool.
After moving to another country of course...
![]() 02/29/2016 at 19:10 |

I’d use half of it to design my own house. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Massive garage. No 20 bedroom, 40 bathroom bullshit. Oh, and I’d need a moving platform thing kinda like those claw machines in the arcade that will get me to whatever car I want, because walking is for plebs.
Then the rest on whatever car comes to my mind.

An Audi S8 Plus and put the rest into diversified ETFs so I can be rich as shit in 20 years or so.

Design and build a nice reasonably sized house. Build a big ass barn. Fill it with tools and old cars and trucks to play with.

Can you even get all that for $2.3 million?

Re-do the Outback with a FA20 swap and WRB paint.
Get a Fiesta ST as my daily runabout.
Probably get an RS because I just can’t resist
Go to rally co-driving schools (yes, plural. I must be da best)
Prep the desert truck for Vegas to Reno and race it
Acquire some land with a modest house, a less modest garage, and room for some sort of dirt course
Get a chase truck
Get a cheap rally car to beat on and possibly occasionally race

McLaren P1 for track days and a 650S to DD because I can?
![]() 02/29/2016 at 21:00 |

Ok we can be friends because I like your layout there lol! I would daily a FoST over a Fiesta just because of the extra space.

I made the post in about 3 minutes so I totally missed that! I just saw a link from the Chiron post and went to town lol. Honest mistake

I’m sure 2.35 mil would help grease the wheels!

I’d be more inclined to racetrack front property but oceans are cool too ;)

Are LFA cupholders of adequate size for Taco Bell large drinks?

It would fix everything ... but now, the price range we’re in is the one where a rich asshole with a mistress or a kid in college will pay full price without thinking.

Oh lawd that track toy is a classy pick sir! The noise!!!

I’d build a Quesalupa nest on the passenger seat to hold a Fruitista Freeze.

Probably.

my retirement...

A nice used twin turbo-prop plane. A vacation home to fly it to.

I’ve got the OBXT for space. The FiST would be for the majority of the time where my only cargo is me. Ergo I’d choose the car that has the best fuel economy but is still fun.
![]() 02/29/2016 at 22:25 |
|
Woo-hoo! I got one!
![]() 02/29/2016 at 22:29 |

Exactly. Despite the 1500hp, i’m positive that a lot of these spec racecars for sale here could take it out easy on a track.
![]() 02/29/2016 at 22:30 |
|
Even a older GT3 (GTD) spec 997 can destroy this 1500hp car on any track day

I don’t really like bugattis’s to me they are cars like i get the preformance an and everything but i get happy when i see a 240sx tuned or a gtr r34, r35, r33, r32, or an r31 go by, not a bugatti. they are all wheel drive monsters that i dislike id even if i had the chance to own a hyper car id want a zonda r or a Hennessy venom not this 2.5 million dollar car that id go car broke with or drive it as hard as it is supposed to be driven thats insane. dont get me wrong they are initiative and beautiful cars but just not for me.

15000 man hours of engineering into my Z, and another 500,000 dollars worth of custom parts and labor.

I’m sure this would be one crazy Z!

I like it! Sounds like money well spent
![]() 03/01/2016 at 10:12 |

A 6-car garage with a 3-bedroom attached house, on an acre or so, nestled in the foothills. That’s about half the cash there, so I guess the rest to fill said garage
![]() 03/02/2016 at 08:56 |

Yup, Torch said it best, even a Lada has a better racing pedigree than the Veyron had, or the Chiron will attain. Sure, there are no categories the Bugattis fit in, but I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to say that, if it went head to head with a le mans winning 911, the 911 would come out on top.
Personally, I just want to know if 2.5 million would be enough to buy one Yenko Deuce Nova of each color made.

YENKO Deuce!!!!!!!! That is a good quote from Torch
